Game 2: Akron —  bus arrival 8:15 a.m., kickoff 11 a.m. We had lofty goals to leave for the game at 7 a.m., but getting eight people out of the door (even with the kids still in jammies) is no easy feat. We left around 7:15 and picked up a breakfast pizza from Casey’s en route. I had (what I thought was) brilliantly per-ordered the pizza for pickup and even called ahead to ensure it would be ready to go. Unfortunately, they still hadn’t put it in the oven when we arrived so we were in a bit of a stalling pattern while we waited for 10 minutes for the pizza to bake and packed the coolers with ice for the day.
